14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations,
for ever and ever! Amen.

Overview of Vs:14-21. Paul expresses a prayer that grows out of his awareness of all that God is doing in believers. Gods key gifts are "Power"(Vs 16,18,20) and "Love"(Vs: 17-19).
Vs: 14,15- "The invocation"
The first thing that we see in this passage Paul is on his knees. "I bow my knees". Paul's prayer was addressed to "The father" though the Son and in the spirit.
Vs: 16-19. "The petition"
There are four requests in Paul's prayer,
Strength (Vs:16) The presence of the Holy Spirit in the life is evidence of salvation (Romans 8:9), Depth (Vs:17) (Dwell, Rooted and grounded), Apprehension (Vs:18,19a) or "Comprehend" , Fulness (Vs.19b) God wants us to experience his fullness or "Filled unto all the fullness of God".
Vs: 20,21. The "Benediction"
He teaches us that His power is so great that he has reconciled Jews and gentiles to each-other.
